The "chimney-stack integration" technology refers to the method where exhaust gases from thermal power plants are no longer emitted into the atmosphere through chimneys but are instead channeled via ducts to hyperbolic cooling towers. The gases, after desulfurization treatment, are then released at high altitudes through ducts integrated into the cooling towers, combining the exhaust emission system with the tower structure.
